Kid Cudi has been dealing with a lot lately, he fell out with Kanye West as well as producer, Mike Dean and had things thrown at him during his Rolling Loud performance. And due to these events, he’s taken to twitter to say he thinks he’s “the most hated man in hip hop right now.” In his since deleted tweet. Kanye’s fanbase is taking a toll on Kid Cudi. In an interview with Esquire, he said “Do you know how it feels to wake up one day, look at your social media, and you’re trending because somebody’s talking some shit about you? And then you got this person’s trolls sending you messages on Instagram and Twitter? All in your comments? That shir pissed me off. That he had the power to fuck with me that week. That he used his power to fuck with me. That pissed me off. You fucking with my mental health now, bro.”
As a personal Kid Cudi fan, I don’t believe his statement to be true. He also had about 18,000 people there for his Moon Man’s Landing event in Cleveland this past weekend. If he were the most hated man in Hip Hop, he wouldn’t have that many people show up for him. There are so much more celebrities that can take that title!
