State Rep. Valencia Stovall (D-Forrest Park), in conjunction with the Ludacris Foundation and AmbitiousX will hold a press conference announcing the LUDAFAMDAY unity celebration on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  The press conference will be held from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Georgia State Capitol (South Wing).
This 1 day event will take place during the 2017 LUDADAY Charity Weekend and will feature live performances from artists, free attractions, health screenings, kids zone and much more.
“LUDADAY Charity Weekend is all about giving back to the community.  The family is the foundation of our communities and our communities are the foundation of our great city.  LUDAFAMDAY was created with this in mind and it is the biggest give back of the charity weekend stated Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges. I encourage all communities throughout the city to come out and enjoy the day.  We are much stronger and effective together”
“As a native of southeast Atlanta, I’m excited to be a part of the LudaDay Weekend and partner with the Ludacris Foundation and ambitiousX to bring awareness to top issues impacting Atlanta while providing a family fun filled experience”, states Rep. Stovall.
The Ludacris Foundation and ambitiousX teamed up to produce LUDAFAMDAY, a community initiative where music meets social impact.  This day of fun has a theme of unity, health and wellness and is infused with an exceptional opportunity.
AmbitiousX will launch the ambitiousX IDEAS challenge at the event where community leaders can submit ideas for a chance to win a $50k grant from the Walton Family Foundation to redesign public schools, revitalize blighted neighborhoods, advance economic opportunity and build the next generation of leaders with a hyper focus on the South Atlanta area.
