Saturday was a big day in London, England and all over the world. Millions watched as Prince Harry and California actress Meghan Markle said I do.
Meghan & her mother Doria arrived at St.George’s Chapel by a carriage promptly at 7 am EST.
The beautiful bride wowed the crowd in a custom gown and 16 foot veil designed by Givenchy’s artistic director Clare Keller. Meghan also honored the Queen wearing the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau.
She was later met by prince Charles who walked her down the aisle in her father’s absence (he is recovering from heart surgery).
Reverend Michael Curry was the first Black man to preside over an Episcopal church preached about the importance of love.
After they were pronounced husband and wife, Cellist star Sheku Kanneh-Mason played a beautiful tune. Kanneh-Mason was the first Black musician to win the BBC Young Musician award and was asked personally by Meghan to perform at the wedding.
