In the recent weeks since Grammy-nominated rapper, philanthropist and Father, Nipsey Hussle, was murdered outside of his Marathon clothing store; the L.A.P.D. has officially named Eric Holder the killer.

After twenty five years since he served as a litigator on the O.J. Simpson case, Chris Darden, is now the attorney of Nipsey Hussle’s Killer. It seems as though Darden has found himself in hot water in the the pot of public opinion, especially in the black community. First, he made O.J. Simpson try on the infamous black gloves and now he is defending the man that took the life of one of Los Angeles’s beloved public figures. Darden’s prominent role in the case was making OJ try on the gloves, which let to the well-known line, “If it doesn’t fit you much acquit”.

In a recent hearing in a Los Angeles courtroom, Darden pleaded not guilty on behalf of Holder on the charges of murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Holder’s bail was set at $5million and his next court date is set for May 10th. Darden stood in front of Holder to shield him from the many news cameras within the courtroom.

Darden is under fire again for his legal actions and now his family is too. His dsughter, Jenee Darden, recently released a statement via Instagram pleading with fans to not attack her or her family due to her father’s decision to represent Holder. Jenee stated, “Like many of you, I found out about my father’s involvement in the case while scrolling through social media. I was not prepared for the backlash that has triggered bad memories from the O.J Simpson Trial”.

Although everyone is due a fair trial and due process, it seems hard to go through the process with Eric Holder since he was caught on surveillance cameras in broad daylight murdering a man. We wonder what kind of tricks Darden has up his sleeve for the benefit of his client.
