71-year-old former football player, OJ Simpson, has officially become a Twitter user. After a short time being on the social media platform, he quickly gained over 50,000 followers. Simpson’s twitter handle is (@TheRealOJ32). His bio reads “If you don’t see it here, I didn’t say it.”
Simpson says his account will be used to share his thoughts and opinions. Two days after the 25th anniversary of the infamous slaying of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, Simpson posted an introductory video for his new followers.
In his first video, Simpson is all smiles and says, “I got a little getting even to do. So God bless, take care.”
He later shared a second video stating, “ Hey Twitter world. You know for years, people have been able to say whatever they want to say about me with no accountability. But now, I get to challenge a lot of that BS and set the record straight. More importantly, I ‘ll be able to talk about everything, especially sports and fantasy football, and even politics”.
It seems as though O.J. has a strong urge to clear his name of all allegations, rumors, and drama since his last prison release. The first rumor he chose to clear up is where or not he is the father of Khloe Kardashian (daughter of his best friend and attorney Robert Kardashian Sr.).
“But never, and I wanna stress never, in any way shape or form have I ever had any interest in [Kris Jenner] romantically, sexually, and I never got any indication that she had any interest in me, so all of these stories are bogus, bad, tasteless”, stated Simpson in a video.
Twitter is the first social media platform that O.J. has decided to join since he was granted parole in 2017 after serving nine years in prison for an incident in Vegas where he tried to retrieve his stolen football memorabilia.
We will be glued to our seats to see what O.J. will say next. Is the world ready for his Twitter fingers? Leave your comments below.
