The Kardashians have officially canceled their annual Christmas Eve party. This is the first year that the Kardashians have canceled their Christmas eve party since it started in 1978! Khloé Kardashian revealed the news via Twitter.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978, I believe. Health and safety first, though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must,” Khloé tweeted to a fan.

This would have been Khloe’s turn to host the annual Christmas bash. Kris Jenner started the tradition and since 2018 each sister has taken a turn hosting the party. It is great to see the family take this pandemic seriously. During season 19, the family revealed that Khloe and Kanye contracted the COVID-19 virus.
As the COVID cases began to rise, California’s stay at home order went into effect again on Sunday, which banned large gatherings. Although the party has been canceled we’re sure the Kardashian-Jenner clan will give us a glimpse of their holiday festivities via Instagram.
