Rhys Whittock, 39, makes his living by working as a Prince Harry lookalike, however with the trying times and savage headlines, it seems that work wasn’t as thriving as it used to be.
Despite his business thriving again, making thousands of pounds some days, it hasn’t always been that way for Whittock.
When the papers started coming for Prince Harry, and in particular his wife, Meghan Markle, the phrase ‘Megxit’ started to make Rhys fear for his career, as less and less people wanted to associate with the pair.
But against all odds, it seems to be that nowadays, as long as the Prince is in the headlines…Rhys has work, and on some days gets paid up to £1000 for a day’s work.
Rhys signed with an agency back in 2017, the following year he won EasyJet’s ‘Best Prince Harry Lookalike in Europe’.
He has travelled far and wide to be in TV adverts, private functions and even re- enactments of Harry’s court appearances which feature on GB News.
‘’It is huge to be involved with such a big story. It’s a great way of portraying it to the audience using the transcripts from the courts’’ Rhys commented on how it feels to be part of such a huge, and ongoing story in the public eye.
