Cardi B and Offset gave each other tattoos in the latest episode of Cardi B’s Facebook Watch series, Cardi Tries. Although Offset was initially hesitant to be tattooed by Cardi B, he finally agreed.
The couple received training from Nikko Hurtado, who is the favorite artist of Offset. They both practiced on a rubber arm until eventually, they inked each other with the date of their wedding, September 20, 2017 (9.20.17), which didn’t require too much artistic skill.
While practicing, the couple shared their first tattoo experiences. Offset said that he got his mother’s and grandmother’s names on his arm when he was 16, which his mom apparently didn’t like.
Cardi said that she spent her first financial aid check on the massive peacock tattoo on her hip. That peacock is now her best friend, she said.
Cardi has recently publicly spoken about wanting more ink o her skin.

Her desire comes a year after she revealed she was thankful she didn’t get any tattoos on her face when she was younger.
“Every day I’m thankful at the fact that ain’t get this face tatt I wanted when I was 16. Little stars from the top of my eyebrow swirling down to my jaw,” she said.
