The Harry Potter fandom seem to be in the middle yet again, with the latest uproar regarding J.K. Rowling’s stance on trans issues. The most recent debate is surrounding whether or not the loyalties of the cast lie with series creator, and author, J.K Rowling.
Most people believe that they should support what they believe in, even if that is against Rowling’s opinion, however the likes of Oli London, a British Internet personality, who is known for his offensive views, has solely agreed with the opinion of the cast ‘’turning their backs’’ to ‘’please the woke crowd’’ whilst profiting off of her success.
He in particular called out character Hermione’s actress, Emma Watson, followed by her 2 lead counterparts, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, saying how they owe everything to her.
London caught the attention of Harry Potter fans, and of course replied to his post disagreeing with everything he had said.
