Kim Kardashian has sparked yet another controversy after meeting with the infamous Menendez brothers, Erik and Lyle, who are notoriously known for their high profile murder trial, after killing their parents.
The meeting sparked the reaction it has as it comes very shortly after Erik Menendez spoke publicly in a negative way about Ryan Murphy’s latest Netflix series based on the brothers trial, called Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Menendez said the series was ‘blatant lies’ and ‘horrible’.
The show has already had it’s own fair share of controversial comments as it hones in on the brothers and what they did, less about why they did it and the personal trials they faced growing up and what led to the ultimate end to it all.
The brothers went on to be convicted to life imprisonment after ‘brutally murdering’ their parents back in 1989 after they made allegations of abuse that went on from their parents, they were looking for a way out.
Kim Kardashian is set to work with Ryan Murphy again n his upcoming project All’s Fair, where she will play a top divorce lawyer at an all-female law firm.
It has been known for some time that Kardashian has been working towards working in the legal sector after passing the baby bar exam last year, also continuing her role as being an advocate for criminal justice reform.
Starting out her legal journey, she reached out to Ivanka Trump with Alice Johnson’s case, a woman who was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug trafficking offense.
The success of this case inspired Kim to branch out and help those that were in similar situations, using her large platform to raise awareness and hopefully excel on changing those that are trapped in the system.
