Meghan Markle has announced the launch of her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
Ahead of the launch word has got out regarding who will be CEO of the new company after it was reported that yet another staff member quit working for both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The launch of ARD was first teased in the beginning of the year with no official release date or information on what the brand will offer.
According to different sources, the reason for the lack of information is down to the position for CEO still being open as Meghan has found it difficult to fill the role.
The source also went on to say “The numbers don’t lie and to have almost 20 members of staff quitting on them tells its own story,” the report cited sources. “It’s unprecedented, even for a startup.”
“The brutal reality is Harry and Meghan are the toughest of taskmasters; they’re very demanding and difficult to work for, and that puts a lot of people’s backs up”
Amongst the many different projects that both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have been working on, it has been a non stop release of new projects including Netflix deals and charity/foundation work.
The rumour mill has also sparked news surrounding the Netflix deal that Meghan had for a cooking and homemaking show – that compliments the lifestyle brand – was a deal which was signed back in 2020 as well as already been filmed but again, there is no release date as of yet.
It seems as though due to the radio silence of American Riviera Orchard, Meghan will have to wait out the schedule of Netflix until releasing an official date for the brand to be ready for purchase, or in this case, a ‘rebrand’.
