The incarcerated R&B singer’s court date has been pushed back to September due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The 52-year-old is currently being held at Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Center without bail on child pornography and sex trafficking charges. During a telephone conference, Judge Ann Donnelly stated Kelly’s trial has been rescheduled for September 29.
This news comes weeks after Kelly’s legal team pushed for him to be released on home confinement due to the Coronavirus. Their requests were denied.
