In May 2018 Sabrina attended the royal wedding of the century with her then-fiancé Idris Elba. Instantly the former beauty queen became an overnight sensation. During the ceremony she recalled her cell phone vibrating non-stop.
“I didn’t look at it out of respect, but I could feel it dinging. Every single person I know just saw me walk into this wedding on TV, and I don’t even know how to explain that feeling. It definitely went from being ‘Sabrina from Vancouver’ to I don’t even know what to call it now!”,She shared during an interview with Sunday Times Style Magazine.
Sabrina and Idris have since married in a ceremony in Morocco.
