2020 has been a year of many firsts! This year we can add Snoop Dogg voting for the first time to the list. In a recent interview with the Real 92.3, the legendary rapper revealed he thought people with a criminal record could not vote.
“For many years it had me brainwashed thinking that you couldn’t vote because you had a criminal record”, he stated. Snoop Dogg has a previous gun and drug convictions during his younger years.
He also stated that he “definitely” planned on voting this November.
“We got to make a difference. I can’t talk about it and not be about it. I can’t tell you to do it then you don’t go do it. Everybody know I’m a front-liner. I ain’t gonna tell you to do something I didn’t do”.
