Due to the surge in Coronavirus cases, the 63rd Annual Grammys has been postponed to March 21, 2021. According to Rolling Stone, show organizers had already planned to go without having an audience and only allow presenters and performers to be present. Beyonce leads nine nominations and was rumored to perform “Savage” with Megan Thee Stallion.
Several other shows have postponed production due to the lockdown in California. Fan favorites Black-ish, Mixed-ish, This is Us, American Crime Story, and Grey’s Anatomy is not expected to return to production before January 18th. Other award shows have also bushed back their original dates including the Oscars and the Golden Globes.
