After Kobe Bryant’s unexpected passing on Sunday (January 26th), the chairman of the Basketball Hall of Fame announced that they will induct the NBA icon in the next ceremony, which is set to take place in August. The announcement was made via Twitter.
“Kobe will be honored the way he should be”, stated chairman Jerry Colangelo.
Alongside Bryant, the rest of the class will include Kevin Garnett,Tim Hardaway, Tim Duncan, and Mugsy. The ceremony will take place in Springfield Massachusetts in August.
